It's hard work and it's honest about that.
Early starts, long days in the heat, and you go home actually tired.
The lawn season runs roughly May to September and it's a full one. You'll be on mowers, trimmers and blowers most days, doing cleanups at either end of the season and aeration and seeding in between. Rain days move the schedule, which means some weeks are short and some are long. There is winter snow-clearing work as well, so it does not have to stop in September.
You don't need experience with the equipment — that part is teachable and we'll teach it. What you do need is to turn up on time, work through a hot afternoon without disappearing, and care whether the edges got done. That last one is most of the job.
